We started Awthentik Graphics to be the flagship for our graphic design services and wanted a logo that was just as clean as the work we do. The first thing was creating a name that was individual to itself and not like any other. Loring Studios itself originated from the owners middle name, but our graphics company had to be different.
We noticed every graphics shop in Lake Elsinore was franchised or had another company in surrounding cities with a similar name. San Diego had Extreme and Synergy Graphics, (not that we would name our company that) and there were already sign shops across the country. We didn't want to be another graffix shop, so what could we create that would be the only used name in the world? We worked at creating a logo that had several meanings that was unique to a graphics company worldwide. The end result, Awthentik Graphics was born. Our AwthentiK Graphics logo design fell right into place and gained popularity fast. Aw™ became the icon representing the aw effect we create with our designs. When you think graphics, think awthentik™ became the slogan. The reason why we are not the same as other shops is simple. We are not franchised, nor will we ever be. Second, there is no other Awthentik and if there ever was, it's only because they weren't creative enough to think of something original and stole it from us. What would a fast logo be without a high rev tachometer needle? When Fastlane West approached us to to a logo we knew what we wanted to create before we even hit the line art. Clean, simple and to the point. These days logos sometimes get out of control and the best ones are remembered not for how much, but how little.
A logo that is clean and to the point is much more effective then a logo that has too much going on. Logos don't need skulls, crests, or photos to be effective. Save that stuff for marketing materials. Our Fastlane logo design is exactly what the company represents, Fast and clean to go with the amazing products they manufacture. |

We recently had to re-wrap a trailer that was done by another graphics shop because it was fading and falling off within a year of purchase. The client wanted to keep the same colors and brain but needed to change to logo because the previous name was used 7-11. We suggested they use the name Brain Chillz and we reworked the previous logo to incorporate the new name.
The brain represents the clear cups they had custom made to serve shaved ice in and the rainbow colors show the shaved ice flavoring. The previous logo file was poorly constructed in illustrator so we redrew and cleaned it up. The end result was a great makeover that tied in with the new look we created for the trailer wrap quite well. |
